The 66th Annual NCAAHPERD-SM Convention will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 20-22, 2014. The theme for this year's convention is "Inspire a Generation."
With one of the largest memberships in the country, North Carolina AAHPERD-SM provides a unique opportunity to renew and refresh your teaching methods and professional outlook. We will have many great presentations and events going on at the convention this year. The convention will have a new format with each day full of sessions on Friday and Saturday, and pre-conference workshops all day on Thursday. Friday we will have our annual Awards Luncheon and on Friday night we will hold our Second Annual Casino Night and dance.
The Raleigh Convention Center is located in Downtown Raleigh at the end of one of the most dynamic streets in Raleigh, Fayetteville Street. Fayetteville street is full of restaurants, bars, clubs, museums and events. The Marriott is connected to the Raleigh Convention Center via a tunnel.
