The 2013 NC Healthy Schools Sumer Institute is set for June 12-14, 2013 on the beautiful campus of UNC Wilmington.

Keynotes will address school safety, trauma and violence prevention, anti-bullying and gang awareness, healthy weight challenges, operating school health advisory councils and the appropriate use of humor!

Breakout sessions will focus on sexuality education, distracted driving dangers, health services, CPR, mental health and behavioral health services, school breakfast, parental involvement and healthy school environments.

The Institute offers an upscale dinner banquet with a fun and humorous speaker, lots of door prizes and one lucky participant will win a mountain bike! The Institute is scheduled so that participants will have time to enjoy historic Wilmington and the surrounding beaches.

What a deal!! The Institute cost is $299 for rooming on campus at UNC W, registration fee, meals and materials. The cost is $239 if you choose to room off campus in one of the area hotels and includes the registration fee, meals and materials.
Participants will also earn 15 contact hours of continuing education or 1.5 CEUs.
