The 65th Annual NCAAHPERD Convention will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 21-23, 2013. The theme for this year's convention is "RxD" or in other words, "Prescription: Do..."
With one of the largest memberships in the country, North Carolina AAHPERD provides a unique opportunity to renew and refresh your teaching methods and professional outlook. The Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 South Salisbury Street, is a three-level 500,000-square-foot building. It contains a 150,000-square-foot exhibit hall, twenty meeting rooms and a 32,000-square-foot ballroom. Open and airy, the 4,100-square-foot, street-level mezzanine overlooks the exhibit hall and provides easy access to all other areas of the center and the attached Marriott Hotel. Alternately, the Sheraton Raleigh is just a short walk away from the convention center, so you can spend less time en route and more time attending sessions and networking with colleagues.
