The FRIENDS of NCAAHPERD was established in 1989 to raise funds for worthwhile projects of the NCAAHPERD membership. It was decided that Friends of NCAAHPERD would have a total of over $10,000 before any monies would be awarded. In 1994, the $10,000 minimum was met and surpassed. Since then, Friends have awarded more than $25,000 in grants to NCAAHPERD members for worthy projects and endeavors.
Currently, the FRIENDS of NCAAHPERD committee is prepared to review applications and proposals for grants, scholarships and projects to be awarded at the annual convention. If you are interested in applying for a FRIENDS grant, information on the application process is available here.
