Convention Exhibition Information

Members of North Carolina Alliance for Athletics, Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance are active elementary, secondary or higher education professionals. Our collegiate student population is not only active in our Alliance, but is an integral part of our stated mission. Many statewide businesses and service affiliates complete our list of members.

Our Alliance has been in existence since 1921. We have been recognized as being a leader within our national organization - the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. We host numerous professional enrichment programs throughout the year.  We are most proud of our annual convention held each November. The convention attracts an average of 2,400 participants and 50+ exhibitors. The three day event affords ample exhibit exposure time and it is hailed as being one of the most successful statewide conventions. We have enjoyed and appreciated our many "return" exhibitors and we are looking forward to a successful association with "new" exhibitors in the coming years.

 
Where is the NCAAHPERD Convention?

It is hosted at the M.C. Benton Jr. Convention Center , in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With a recent two million dollar renovation, the convention center now features high speed wireless internet access, a new entryway, lighting, carpeting, sound system, landscaping and signage. You will find it very accommodating to your needs. The Piedmont Triad International Airport serves the Greensboro area with major commercial and general aviation services.

 
Why should you exhibit at the NCAAHPERD Convention?

We have over 2,400 participants for this three day event.
Plenty of exposure and contact with future business clients!
A "Members Social" hosted by NCAAHPERD. In addition to our dedicated exhibit times, we will host a social for all of our members in the Exhibits area.
Very reasonable booth rental fees!
Small (8x10): $350   Large (8x20): $500
Additional tables, chairs, electrical hook-up are extra.
Non-profit and educational organizations table fees are $125.00.

National Conventions
North Carolina is one of 13 southern states that make up the Southern District of AAHPERD. Each year, SDAAHPERD hosts a convention in the early part of the year. The 2008 in conjunction with National AAHPERD will be in Fort Worth Texas. Visit the SDAAHPERD Web site or 2008 Convention for more information.
The American Alliance (AAHPE-
RD) also hosts an annual convention and exposition in the spring.
