Waxhaw (Union County Schools) Regional Workshop in Teaching the Middle School & High School Health Manuals

The NC School Health Training Center with funding from the NC Department of Public Instruction is offering one-day workshops in the teacher manuals to support the NC Essential Standards in Health Education. The six-­hour workshop assists teachers in meeting the new NC Essential Standards.

  • Workshop is from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Limited to 40 participants 
  • Certificates for .6 CEUs provided
  • Our grant does not provide lunches

Successfully Teaching High School Health V contains 43 seven-­step lessons with 36 PowerPoints and Prezis

Successfully Teaching Middle School Health IV contains 123 seven-­step lessons with 78 PowerPoints and Prezis
